About The Role

Airport Development Group (ADG) is seeking an experienced Projects Cost Officer (Finance) to join our Corporate Services team, based at Darwin International Airport. This position plays a key role in providing accurate and reliable cost control for ADG's capital projects, supporting confident decision-making and financial reporting across all stages of project delivery.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner - Assets, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Finance, and senior stakeholders to monitor project expenditure, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure financial discipline across ADG's capital portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Partnering with Project Managers and Finance to provide accurate, timely financial information on all active projects
- Developing, managing, and updating project budgets and forecasts, including contingency and capitalisation processes
- Monitoring expenditure and commitments, analysing cost trends, and identifying potential risks or variances
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies, delegations, and accounting standards
- Raising and managing purchase orders, receipting, and invoice matching
- Preparing monthly reports, KPIs,



and project cost updates
- Supporting internal and external audit processes and maintaining robust financial controls

About You

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
- 3+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a large asset or capital project environment
- Strong understanding of project cost control principles and financial systems
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and practical experience using corporate ERP systems (TechnologyOne experience desirable)
- Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (includes police record check)
