About the Role The role involves assisting in the end-to-end execution of financial due diligence assignments for both buy-side and sell-side corporate transactions, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Deal Execution: Assist in the end-to-end execution of financial due diligence assignments for both buy-side and sell-side corporate transactions.
- Quality of Earnings: Analyze historical financial statements to evaluate normalized EBITDA margins, identify one-off structural expenses, and spot potential transaction risks.
- Financial Modelling: Build and manipulate intricate, Excel-based three-way financial forecasting and corporate scenario models to validate transaction assumptions.
- Reporting & Advisory: Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports, pitch decks, and presentations translating raw accounting data into clear commercial insights for corporate clients and business owners.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate daily with target company financial controllers, corporate CFOs, and private equity stakeholders to manage information requests and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated, hands-on experience within a Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, or Corporate Finance advisory practice.
- Pedigree:
Solid foundations trained within a Big 4 or equivalent reputable mid-tier public practice accounting environment.
- Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (three-way modeling, macros, complex formulas) and exposure to business data analytics tools.
- Qualifications: Completed or currently completing CA / CPA program frameworks.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills with a proven capability to communicate technical financial outcomes to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in a Big 4 or equivalent reputable mid-tier public practice accounting environment.
