National Fire & Safety Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Safety Technician to join our team. The successful applicant will be capable of working independently across a variety of commercial, residential and strata properties throughout Sydney.
Key responsibilities
- Inspecting, testing and maintaining fire equipment
- Servicing fire extinguishers, fire blankets and fire hose reels
- Inspecting exit and emergency lighting
- Inspecting smoke alarms
- Identifying defects and providing clear, accurate technician notes
- Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating professionally with clients, building managers and occupants
- Keeping company equipment, stock and work areas organised
About you
- Live in the Sutherland Shire or surrounding suburbs
- Previous experience within the fire protection industry
- A current Australian drivers license
- Positive knowledge of routine fire equipment inspection and testing
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to compliant workmanship
- Basic computer or tablet skills for electronic reporting
