Inter Industrial Services is currently recruiting an experienced Flexographic Printer for a leading and well-established print and packaging company located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Flexographic Printer who takes pride in producing high-quality work, maximising machine efficiency and getting the best possible production output from modern printing technology.

The Opportunity

We are looking for the best of the best Flexographic Printer who can confidently operate and optimise modern flexographic printing equipment .

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining the highest standards of print quality, efficiency and safety.

You must be willing to work either:

- 3 x 12-hour night shifts, or
- A split 3 x 12 shift – 2 x day shift, 1 x night shift.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate up-to-date flexographic printing machinery
- Maximise machine output and production efficiency
- Utilise the latest printing technology and machine capabilities to achieve optimum production
- Maintain consistent print quality and colour accuracy
- Complete job make-readies and changeovers efficiently
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Minimise waste, downtime and production interruptions
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are consistently achieved
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process
- Follow all workplace health & safety and quality procedures




- Maintain a clean, safe and organised production environment
- Work collaboratively with production, maintenance and quality teams

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A proven, exceptional, quality Flexographic Printer – We want the best!
- Must be competent with modern technology
- Experience operating modern, high-speed printing machinery
- A strong understanding of inks, substrates, plates, registration and colour management
- Experience working within other market leading packaging businesses
- A strong focus on maximising machine utilisation and production output
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- A proactive approach to reducing waste and downtime
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to safety

This role is ideally suited to a printer who understands that utilising modern machinery is critical to production success. You will be expected to utilise the machine's latest technology, automation and production capabilities to maximise throughput while maintaining exceptional print quality.
