About the role

We are seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant to join the hospitality team at Barnbougle Golf Links in Bridport, Tasmania. This is a casual position offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. In this role, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, delivering exceptional service in our dining and beverage areas.

You will play a vital part in creating memorable moments for our visitors, ensuring they receive attentive, professional and warm hospitality throughout their time with us. Key responsibilities

- Greeting guests warmly and promptly upon arrival at the dining and beverage areas
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and attending to guest requests in a timely manner
- Serving food and drinks with professionalism and attention to detail
- Maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials and beverage options to provide informed recommendations
- Clearing tables promptly and efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Setting tables correctly according to venue standards and dress codes
- Handling payments and processing transactions using point-of-sale systems
- Assisting with general housekeeping and restocking of dining areas
- Supporting the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Addressing guest concerns and complaints professionally and courteously
- Adhering to food safety and health regulations at all times

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in food and beverage service or waiting staff roles is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working casual hours




- Ability to work as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and carry trays and items safely
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills in hospitality
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems is beneficial
