Casual Production Sheet Metal Worker | Roofing Options Campbellfield

Looking for steady afternoon work with a successful, established company where you can learn, develop and be part of a great team? We're continuing to grow and are looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our Campbellfield production team on the afternoon shift.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced sheet metal worker looking for consistent casual hours, or someone with the right attitude who wants to learn a trade and build valuable manufacturing skills.

The Role

You'll be working as part of a close-knit production team, helping manufacture quality roofing products that are supplied to builders, roof plumbers and customers across Melbourne. Every day is hands-on and varied. You'll learn our machinery, processes and products, while working alongside experienced team members who are happy to teach you the ropes.

Your day-to-day work will include:

- Operating folder and slitter machinery, with training provided where required
- Measuring, folding and cutting sheet metal to specification
- Reading job requirements and ensuring work is accurate
- Assisting with general manufacturing and production duties
- Keeping your work area organized and maintaining a safe working environment
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets

Who We're Looking For

We're more interested in the person you are and your attitude towards work than simply what's written on your resume.

If you're experienced:

If you've worked in sheet metal, operated folders or slitters,



or have experience in light manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you. An MR truck licence would also be highly regarded.

If you're new to the trade:

That's completely fine. If you're reliable, practical, comfortable working with measurements, willing to get your hands dirty and genuinely interested in learning, we'll teach you the skills you need.
