Job Description
We are seeking an engineer / PM to coordinate Colocation Services & Exchange Connectivity for ASX and Cboe Australia environments. The role will act as the primary liaison between Business, Application Development, Network Engineering, Hosting/Infrastructure teams, Exchange providers, vendors, and external clients to ensure the successful delivery, maintenance, and lifecycle management of trading infrastructure hosted within exchange colocation data centers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing exchange connectivity, colocation infrastructure, technology refresh programs, exchange-driven changes, business onboarding initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and production change coordination across the bank's trading environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
Exchange Colocation & Infrastructure Management
n
n
- Manage and coordinate bank infrastructure hosted within ASX Australian Liquidity Centre (ALC) and Cboe Australia Colocation facilities.
n
- Act as the central coordination point between Network, Hosting, Security, Exchange, vendors, and application teams.
n
- Oversee rack deployments, cabling, cross-connect provisioning, and server onboarding within exchange colocation facilities.
n
- Manage remote hands activities and data center operational support.
n
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, and vendor lifecycle management.
n
n
Exchange Connectivity Management
n
n
- Own and coordinate exchange connectivity services for ASX and Cboe platforms.
n
- Work closely with exchange providers, carriers,
and infrastructure teams to establish and maintain trading and market data connectivity.
n
- Provide guidance to application teams regarding exchange connectivity requirements, onboarding processes, network architecture, and technical prerequisites.
n
- Coordinate implementation of new exchange services, market data feeds, and order entry connections.
n
n
Project & Change Management
n
n
- Lead exchange-driven initiatives and mandatory market infrastructure changes.
n
- Manage technology lifecycle projects, including:
n
- End-of-Life (EOL) remediation
n
- Infrastructure refresh programs
n
- Capacity upgrades
n
- Exchange-mandated migrations
n
- Coordinate testing, implementation, and production rollout activities.
n
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder communications, risks, issues, and dependencies.
n
n
Business & Client Onboarding
n
n
- Partner with Trading, Electronic Trading, Market Structure, and Business teams to onboard recent clients and trading services.
n
- Coordinate deployment and implementation activities across:
n
- Exchange providers
n
- Network teams
n
- Hosting teams
n
- Application support teams
n
- External clients and vendors
n
- Ensure all connectivity, certification, and implementation requirements are satisfied.
n
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production certification following infrastructure or exchange-related changes.
n
n
Operational Governance
n
n
- Track incidents, problems, risks, and service improvements relating to exchange infrastructure.
n
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, connectivity diagrams, and operational procedures.
n
- Provide regular status reporting to senior stakeholders.
n
