Food Technologist – Part-Time/Casual La Tosca Foods is seeking a part time or casual Food Technologist to support our quality assurance, food safety, regulatory compliance and new product development activities.

The role will involve

- Assisting with new product development and production trials
- Preparing and maintaining product specifications and technical documentation
- Reviewing labels, nutritional information, ingredients and allergen declarations
- Ensuring compliance with FSANZ requirements and food safety standards
- Supporting HACCP and quality assurance programs
- Coordinating shelf-life testing and product validation
- Reviewing packaging artwork and product claims
- Maintaining supplier and raw material documentation
- Investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions
- Assisting with customer, retailer and audit documentation




- Working closely with production and management to improve product quality and manufacturing processes

The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field. Previous food manufacturing experience and knowledge of HACCP, FSANZ labelling requirements and quality systems would be highly regarded. This is a flexible part-time or casual position based at our Brunswick manufacturing facility, offering approximately 4–20 hours per week.

Pay: $27.50 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 20.0 per week
