Expression of Interest – Fractional CFO

As we continue to build solid foundations for growth and plan to scale, we’re interested in connecting with experienced finance leaders to partner with us as a Fractional CFO.

Please note: This is an Expression of Interest for consultancy services rather than an active full-time vacancy. We’d love to hear from experienced professionals who are interested in working with purpose-driven organisations on a flexible basis.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking to build a relationship with an experienced CFO who is experienced in purpose-driven organisations and enjoys partnering with founders and leadership teams to provide strategic financial direction during periods of growth.

This would be a fractional engagement, initially expected to be around 4–8 hours per week, with flexibility depending on organisational needs.

You’d support Co-Hive by:

- Providing strategic financial advice to the CEO
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Helping shape sustainable growth and expansion plans
- Offering financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Advising on revenue diversification, including grants, philanthropy and social enterprise opportunities




- Strengthening financial governance and reporting as the organisation continues to grow

This role is focused on strategy and partnership rather than day-to-day bookkeeping or transactional finance.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Previous experience as a CFO or senior finance executive
- Experience working as a fractional or portfolio CFO (highly regarded)
- Experience supporting growing organisations or purpose-driven businesses
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualifications

Experience working with organisations funded through a mix of NDIS, grants, philanthropy or social enterprise would be highly regarded.
