Role Description This is a part-time Fresher Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Sydney, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Data

Analyst will support the collection, cleaning, and organization of data related to user behavior, course performance, and platform engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include running basic analyses, preparing reports, and visualizing trends to help teams understand learner needs and improve product decisions. The role involves collaborating with marketing, product, and operations to interpret data, document findings, and present insights in clear, accessible formats. The analyst will also assist in building and maintaining simple data models and dashboards under guidance from senior team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics skills for interpreting user and platform data.




- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Statistics to support reporting, trend analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess early-stage experience in Data Modeling to organize data and contribute to simple analytical structures.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to present insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and introductory knowledge of analytical tools or languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, curiosity about data, and willingness to learn in a fast-evolving online education environment are important.
- A relevant academic background or coursework in data science, statistics, computer science, business analytics, or a related field is preferred.
