About the role

Seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our growing team in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time position based in our Canberra office or hybrid location, where you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining a platform across both front-end and back-end technologies. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in delivering end-to-end solutions that drive our business objectives and enhance user experiences for our clients and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

- Instrumental in developing our AI products and integrating it into the Platform
- Developing and maintaining platforms using contemporary front-end frameworks and back-end technologies
- Designing and implementing robust database solutions and APIs to support application functionality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Writing clean, maintainable and well-documented code that follows industry best practices and coding standards
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical issues to ensure optimal application performance
- Participating in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes




- Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to our technology stack

What we're looking for

- Proficiency in both front-end technologies (such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Vue or Angular) and back-end technologies (such as Node.js, Python, Java or C#)
- Strong understanding of database design and management, including experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Solid knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
- Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) is desirable
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and a commitment to writing unit and integration tests
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
