The opportunity

We are seeking a Funding Team Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality administrative support and stakeholder service across Screenwest's grants funding programs.

The role will be responsible for:

- Providing general administrative and secretarial assistance for designated funding programs, including assessment panel scheduling and minutes
- Assisting with research, statistics, reports and correspondence relating to Screenwest funding programs
- Liaising with grant funding applicants, screen industry members and other stakeholders about Screenwest funding programs and processes
- Maintaining the funding database, Funding Administration procedures and other tracking documents
- Supporting the ongoing implementation and maintenance of SmartyGrants and other grants management systems
- Tracking projects and contracts, including deliverables, acquittals and audit information, liaising daily with grant applicants




- Maintaining robust recordkeeping and information management for grant funding applications

The right person will be able to demonstrate / have experience with:

- Experience in a customer service or office workplace, with excellent, professional and courteous customer service skills
- A demonstrated commitment to delivering quality customer service
- Experience providing administrative support, with well-developed keyboard and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets and word processing
- Experience in research and effective writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously and within a small team environment
- Experience in the film, TV or screen sector is desirable
- Knowledge of the screen industry and WA film funding practices is desirable
