Are you confident working with billing, accounts, funding and financial systems and have a sharp eye for detail?
We’re looking for an experienced and organised Funding Officer to join Workpower’s Finance Team.
This is a busy, hands-on role where you’ll manage NDIS funding and billing processes, investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate records and work closely with internal teams, customers and external stakeholders.

? What You'll Be Doing
You’ll play an key role in ensuring customer funding is managed accurately, efficiently and on time. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and processing NDIS funding claims and billing
- Investigating funding discrepancies and resolving issues
- Preparing and maintaining Service Agreements
- Managing invoicing, debtor follow-up and outstanding accounts
- Liaising with customers, families, Plan Managers and Support Coordinators
- Maintaining accurate financial and customer records
- Monitoring funding information and identifying potential issues
- Working closely with internal teams to resolve billing and funding queries
- Using financial and business systems to process and maintain accurate data
- Supporting improvements to funding, billing and administrative processes
? What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable working in a busy, detail-focused environment.
You’ll ideally bring
- Experience in accounts, billing, finance administration, funding administration or a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence investigating discrepancies and following issues through to resolution
- Experience working with financial systems and data
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your work
? Highly Regarded
- Previous experience with NDIS funding and claiming
- Knowledge of Service Agreements, Plan Managers and NDIS funding arrangements
- Experience using Sage or similar financial systems
- Experience in the disability, community services or not-for-profit sector
