Our client operates a well-regarded pub in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. With a strong connection to the local community, the venue has an opportunity to further strengthen its position through engaging leadership, consistent operations and a clear focus on sustainable growth.

As General Manager, you will take ownership of the venue's overall performance, leading the team while building stronger connections with the local community. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced hospitality operator who understands how to balance commercial performance with genuine local engagement.

Key responsibilities will include

- Leading all day-to-day venue operations and maintaining strong service standards
- Developing initiatives to increase patronage, revenue and repeat visitation
- Building relationships with local customers, community groups and stakeholders
- Recruiting, developing and motivating a high-performing venue team
- Managing budgets, labour, costs, compliance and overall commercial performance

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced pub or hospitality leader with strong commercial instincts and a genuine interest in becoming part of the local community.



You will be visible, approachable and capable of creating an workplace that attracts both loyal locals and new customers.

You will ideally bring

- Previous General Manager, Venue Manager or senior pub management experience
- A proven ability to grow revenue and improve venue performance
- Strong people leadership and team development capability
- Sound understanding of hospitality financials, rostering and cost control
- A community-minded leadership style with strong relationship-building skills
