GENERAL MANAGER – FAMILY LAW SERVICES

Full Time – Geraldton Based

Centacare Family Services are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced applicants to join our Geraldton based team in the position of General Manager Family Law Services.

This is a full-time position located in Geraldton, Western Australia. Relocation assistance and short-term accommodation on arrival may be negotiated with the successful applicant. The intended commencement date for this position is Monday 30 November 2026.

About the Role The General Manager Family Law Services provides management and practice support across two teams within Centacare:

- The Family Relationship Centre (FRC)
- Children’s Contact Service (CCS)

In addition to responsibilities within these service areas, the General Manager Family Law Services is a key member of the Executive Management Team, working broadly to support the mission and vision of Centacare Family Services across the whole organisation. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the FRC manager include:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the FRC.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the CCS.
- Drive strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement within assigned service areas.
- Ensure delivery of a high-quality service consistent with funding, policy, best practice, and budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications and Accreditations

- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Social Work, Social Sciences, or equivalent. Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution would be well regarded.
- Formal qualifications in leadership and/or management would be well regarded.




- National Police Check not older than 12 months, or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- Current WA Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain prior to commencement.

Experience / Skill

- Knowledge and expertise of the Family Law Act as relevant to the work done within the FRC and CCS services.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with families experiencing relationship difficulties, including a sound understand of family violence, mental health issues and drug and alcohol addiction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to use highly developed communication both written and verbal to work collaboratively with team members, stakeholders and the broader community.
- Proven capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with government departments, key stakeholders and communities.
- Proven ability to manage, lead, and motivate staff teams to deliver quality services.

Remuneration & Benefits A remuneration package based on the SCHCADS Award 2010 plus superannuation and salary sacrifice option will be provided based on skills and experience.
