The Opportunity

Change Medical Recruitment is partnering with an established, independently operated General Practice in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs seeking a Registered General Practitioner (VR or non VR GP's welcomed) to join its clinical team. The practice is versatile and will consider practitioners looking for either a permanent/long-term position or locum engagement, depending on your availability and preference.

Permanent / Long-Term GP

- 70% of billings
- Independent contractor arrangement
- Opportunity to establish and grow a long-term patient base
- Flexible days and working arrangements

Locum GP

- $250 per hour + GST
- Short or medium-term arrangements considered
- Flexible days and availability
- Opportunity to experience the practice before considering a longer-term commitment

About the Practice

The clinic is an established community General Practice located in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs, servicing a broad and well-established patient demographic. The practice is also entering an exciting period of growth, with plans to relocate to a new, modern purpose-built clinic featuring 10 consulting suites, providing additional capacity and an excellent environment for GPs looking to establish and grow a long-term patient base. The practice provides comprehensive primary healthcare across a range of areas, including:

The practice offers a supportive clinical environment with experienced administrative support, allowing GPs to focus on providing high-quality patient care.

About You

We welcome applications from both VR and non-VR General Practitioners interested in joining an established and growing practice. Ideally, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- VR (FRACGP/FACRRM or equivalent) or non-VR GPs welcome to apply
- General Practice and primary healthcare experience
- Strong clinical and patient communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive clinical team

GPs with additional areas of clinical interest are also encouraged to apply.
