We are currently recruiting an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced Generalist Lawyer to join a well-established and highly regarded legal practice in Perth.

This position would suit a commercially minded and client-focused lawyer who enjoys managing a varied caseload and advising individuals, families and businesses across a broad range of legal matters.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' post-admission experience and be capable of managing files with a high degree of autonomy, while working collaboratively with other members of the firm.

The Role

Depending On Your Experience, Your Responsibilities May Include

- Providing practical and commercially focused legal advice to individuals and business clients.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and other legal documents.
- Advising on business sales and purchases, commercial transactions and corporate matters.
- Managing residential and commercial property transactions.
- Advising on leasing, property and contractual disputes.
- Managing general commercial and civil litigation matters.
- Preparing court documents, evidence, correspondence and settlement proposals.
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
- Preparing wills, powers of attorney and estate-planning documents.
- Advising on probate, estate administration and estate disputes.
- Managing matters from initial instructions through to completion.




- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of junior lawyers and support staff.
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice.

About You To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

- A minimum of five years' post-admission legal experience.
- Broad general-practice experience across two or more relevant areas of law.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and legal research skills.
- Sound commercial judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Experience managing client relationships and providing clear, accessible legal advice.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and file-management capabilities.
- The ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative, professional and client-focused approach.
