About the Roles
GRADUATE ACCOUNTANT (0-1 year experience)
You will be supported to develop core accounting skills whilst working on real client engagements:
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMEs, trusts and partnerships under supervision
- Learn Australian accounting standards and tax legislation through hands-on experience
- Assist with tax planning and advisory projects
- Receive structured guidance and feedback from experienced team members
- Develop client communication skills in a supportive environment
JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT (1-2 years Australian public practice experience)
You will progress your technical expertise whilst beginning to take greater ownership of your work:
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMEs, trusts and partnerships
- Provide support and guidance to graduate team members
- Liaise with clients on accounting and tax queries
- Assist with tax planning and advisory projects
- Manage workflow with accountability for quality and timeliness
- Contribute ideas to improve client outcomes
About You
Essential Requirements:
- Australian Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Currently undertaking or willing to commence CA/CPA qualification studies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Genuine enthusiasm for accounting and client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- Australian public practice accounting experience (for Junior Accountant applicants)
- Experience in Tax, Business Advisory, or Financial Services
