We're on the hunt for a Luxury Travel Consultant to join a leading premium travel business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced inbound travel consultant with deep knowledge of Australia and a passion for designing high-end, tailor-made experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

n

You'll be responsible for designing and selling luxury, tailor-made Australian holidays, working closely with international travel agents and clients to create exceptional experiences from enquiry through to travel.

n

Your day-to-day will include:

n

n
- Designing high-end, tailor-made Australian itineraries based on each client's interests, preferences and travel style
n
- Using your deep knowledge of Australian destinations, regions and experiences to create unique and compelling itineraries
n
- Consulting with international travel agents and clients to understand their requirements and translate them into exceptional travel experiences
n
- Preparing detailed quotes, converting enquiries into bookings and maximising sales and upselling opportunities
n
- Selecting premium accommodation, experiences, tours, transfers and other travel services
n
- Managing enquiries via phone and email and providing a highly personalised level of service
n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Australian suppliers and travel partners
n
- Managing client itineraries from initial enquiry through to travel and monitoring arrangements while clients are in Australia
n
- Keeping up to date with new Australian destinations, luxury properties,



experiences and products
n
- Sharing destination knowledge, market intelligence and client feedback with the wider team
n
- Participating in an after-hours/on-call roster as required
n
- Maintaining accurate client and booking information across travel systems
n

What We're Looking For:

n

We're looking for someone with genuine inbound travel consulting experience and an exceptional knowledge of Australia.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Deep Australian destination knowledge - you know the country's regions, destinations, accommodation and experiences beyond the obvious tourist hotspots
n
- Previous inbound travel consulting experience - experience designing and selling Australian holidays to international clients is highly desirable
n
- Extensive personal travel experience throughout Australia
n
- Experience within luxury, premium or tailor-made travel
n
- A strong sales orientation combined with a genuine customer-service mindset
n
- Creativity and the ability to design unique, personalised itineraries
n
- An understanding of the B2B2C travel environment and working with international travel agents
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and lateral-thinking skills
n
- A genuine passion for Australian travel and creating exceptional client experiences
n
