THE OPPORTUNITY

Coastal Letting Co (CLC) is part of Coastal Letting Group — a short-term rental management business with a proven track record across Queensland, NSW and Victoria, managing 700+ properties and growing.

n

We're now building out our Queensland leadership structure and looking for an Area General Manager to anchor that growth. Initially focused on strengthening and scaling our Gold Coast operations, this is a role where you'll lay the foundations — and then grow the business you lead. As CLC expands across South East Queensland, so does your remit.

This isn't a caretaker role. It's a leadership position for someone who gets energy from building — and who wants the backing of a group that's already done it at scale. This is a hands on role!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

n

- Leading CLC's Queensland operations — setting the standard, holding the line, and driving commercial performance across the portfolio
n
- Building and developing General Managers/ Property Manager and Brand Leads, with a genuine focus on team culture and long-term capability
n
- Owning owner relationships at a senior level — acquisition, retention, and high-value escalations
n
- Taking accountability for P&L; performance, revenue management, and portfolio growth across QLD
n
- Overseeing guest experience standards and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all properties
n




- Working closely with the COO to align Queensland strategy with the broader CLG group direction
n
- Contributing to CLG's expansion as recent markets open up across South East Queensland
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

n
- Genuine leadership experience in short-term rental, holiday accommodation, hospitality, or property management — ideally across multiple sites or brands
n
- A commercial operator — you understand P&L;, revenue performance, and what drives a healthy portfolio
n
- Someone who leads people well — you develop GMs, not just manage them.
n
- Strong owner and stakeholder relationship skills — you're the person owners trust with their most important asset
n
- Comfortable with OTA platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia) and property management systems
n
- Experience with dynamic pricing tools and revenue management strategies is a genuine advantage
n
- A builder at heart — motivated by growth, not just maintenance. Someone who builds culture!
