We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to Sous Chef level professional to join our casual relief team for a Restaurant Associates Corporate CBD venue. The shifts are primarily Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 4:00pm, with occasional evening shifts required to support events and business needs.

THE POSITION

n

- Deliver high-quality food production and service in a fast-paced corporate environment
n
- Support daily kitchen operations and maintain exceptional food standards
n
- Lead and mentor kitchen team members during service periods
n
- Assist with menu execution, food preparation and event catering
n
- Maintain food safety,



allergen management and WHS compliance standards
n
- Support stock control, ordering, wastage management and kitchen efficiency
n
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture
n

THE PERSON

n

n
- Trade qualified Chef
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience at Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef level
n
- Proven experience in high-volume catering is essential
n
- Experience within corporate catering, large-scale hospitality operations or premium dining environments
n
- Strong organisational and communication skills
n
- Ability to adapt quickly to different teams, services and operational requirements
n
- Experience leading kitchen teams during busy service periods
n
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
n
- Flexibility to work on a casual, as-needed basis
n
