We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our Community Nursing team to travel and support clients within Southeast Queensland (Brisbane & surrounds). Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

About the role
n
As a Community Nurse, you will deliver holistic, in-home nursing care to individuals living with spinal cord injury. You will work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to support client wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include
n
n
- Bladder, bowel, continence, and respiratory management
n
- Complex wound care and pressure injury management
n
- Catheter changes and clinical assessments
n
- Tracheostomy care and respiratory support (training provided if required)
n
- Client education and empowerment to promote independence
n
- Clinical guidance and training for Personal Support Workers
n
- Liaising with allied health professionals and external providers
n
- Client visits - within southeast Queensland (Brisbane & surrounds)
n
n
What we are looking for
n
n
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
n
- Minimum two years post-graduate nursing experience (community nursing preferred)
n
- Current Queensland Driver's Licence
n
- Solid clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
n
- A caring, empathetic, and person-centred approach
n
n
Desirable (but not essential)
n
n
- Experience working with people with spinal cord injury
n
- Experience or interest in tracheostomy and ventilation care
n
n
