Salon Receptionist / Social Media Assistant The Darling Bar Hair & Co.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and confident Salon Receptionist / Social Media Assistant to join our team at The Darling Bar Hair & Co.

This is a varied front-of-house role combining exceptional client service, salon administration and social media.

The role will include:

- Promoting and selling skilled haircare products
- Welcoming clients and providing outstanding customer service
- Answering phones and managing client enquiries
- Booking, confirming and rescheduling appointments
- Managing the salon appointment diary and helping fill available appointments
- Processing client payments and assisting with rebooking
- Maintaining a beautifully presented reception and retail area




- Taking before-and-after photos and videos of our salon work
- Creating and posting engaging content for Instagram and Facebook and Tick Tock
- Creating Reels, Stories and simple promotional content
- Responding to social media messages and enquiries
- Assisting with salon promotions, marketing and client communications
- Supporting the salon team with general day-to-day duties
- Promoting and selling professional haircare products

Permanent Part-Time Position 3 to 4 days per week. Pay: $28.00 – $45.00 per hour
