About the role

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys being in the middle of a busy service and leading from the front. You will be an important part of the day-to-day running of the café, working closely with management and helping to lead our front-of-house team.

Key responsibilities

- Leading and supporting the front-of-house team

- Managing staff and helping create a positive team culture

- Working confidently on the coffee machine during busy services

- Maintaining consistently high coffee and service standards

- Ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day service

- Welcoming customers and creating a warm, friendly experience

- Supporting staff with training and development

- Helping manage opening, closing and daily café operations

- Taking responsibility and confidently stepping up when required

- Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently

About you

- Proven experience in a busy café or hospitality environment

- Strong barista skills and confidence on the machine





- Previous experience managing or supervising staff

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
- The ability to stay calm, organised and focused during busy periods

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example
- A great work ethic and reliable nature

- Pride in what you do and a high attention to detail
