Laing O'Rourke, with joint venture partner Amentum Australia,
will playa central rolein supportingAustralianNaval Infrastructure (ANI)to develop and deliver theNuclear-PoweredSubmarineConstructionYard(NPSCY)project at Osborne, South Australia. We will provide program and construction management services of nuclear related civil infrastructure,site‐widenuclear licensee developmentexpertise, and nuclear safety leadership.

We are currently seeking a Safety Manager to join our AUKUS team.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Champion a strong safety culture through Inclusion + Wellbeing principles.
n
- Provide specialist Safety Assurance expertise across complex projects.
n
- Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessments and HAZID activities.
n
- Develop Safety Assurance Plans, Statements and Reports.
n
- Review assurance evidence against safety and compliance requirements.
n
- Lead audits, safety reviews and investigations to drive improvement.
n
n
About you
n
n
- Minimum of 10 years' experience.
n
- Graduate Certificate, Diploma OHS.
n
- Working towards certificate in risk management.
n
- Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
