Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain & Manufacturing, this newly created Head of Logistics position offers the unique chance to build a national logistics capability from the ground up. You will own the strategy, commercial framework, operating model and network design for a business delivering large-scale projects across Australia and internationally.

This is not a role inheriting an established function. It is a true greenfield leadership appointment where your expertise will define how the organisation moves critical equipment, manages freight networks, optimises commercial partnerships and supports major project delivery for years to come.

Your recent role

As Head of Logistics, you will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's end-to-end logistics strategy, creating a scalable logistics function capable of supporting significant business growth and increasingly complex project demands.

You will lead

- Strategic logistics network design across domestic and international supply chains
- Development of logistics operating models, including 3PL versus in-house delivery decisions
- Establishment of commercial frameworks and long-term agreements with freight forwarders, shipping lines and specialist logistics providers
- Oversised, heavy-haul and project cargo strategy
- Freight procurement, contract negotiation and supplier performance management
- Logistics risk management, capacity planning and contingency strategies




- Executive stakeholder engagement and business-wide logistics governance

This is a highly visible leadership role where you will influence strategic business decisions, partner directly with executive leaders and represent logistics in senior client and partner forums. What you'll need to succeed

We're seeking a senior logistics leader with experience building, transforming or scaling complex logistics operations. You may come from global freight forwarding, project cargo, mining, energy, renewables, data centre construction or major infrastructure environments.

Success in this role will come from your ability to design logistics networks, negotiate and manage strategic commercial relationships, oversee 3PL and freight partners and lead large-scale project cargo operations. Experience establishing greenfield logistics functions and operating models, combined with strong executive stakeholder engagement skills, will be highly regarded.
