About the Role
- Work directly with two experienced partners and take meaningful ownership of your matters and client relationships.
- Advise leading aged care, healthcare, retirement living, disability and NDIS providers, as well as not-for-profits and private operators.
- Gain broad exposure across regulatory compliance and reform, governance, M&A;, disputes, major incidents and coronial inquests.
- Develop specialist expertise in a complex and evolving sector where demand for quality legal advice continues to grow.
- Build a long-term career in a collaborative team where your contribution is valued.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on health, aged care and retirement living regulatory and compliance matters.
- Assist with M&A; transactions, due diligence, corporate governance and commercial agreements.
- Work on regulatory disputes, major incident investigations and coronial inquests.
- Advise on retirement village, guardianship and substitute decision-making matters.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years PAE with experience in corporate advisory, transactions, disputes or another relevant area.
- An interest in health, aged care,
retirement living or other highly regulated sectors.
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercial judgement and the confidence to work directly with sophisticated clients.
- A collaborative, organised and solutions-focused approach, with a genuine interest in developing your career.
