We are actively recruiting on behalf of our client, Queensland Positive People Incorporated (QPP), for a part-time, 12-month contract Health Services Operations Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of QPP’s integrated community health services across the RAPID Program.

This is a unique cross-functional opportunity for an experienced health services or operations professional to coordinate the systems, processes, digital technologies and resources that underpin a diverse portfolio of services, including the Nurse Practitioner Service, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) counselling, and peer-led Point of Care Testing.

Working as part of QPP’s Operations Team and in close collaboration with the RAPID Program Manager and multidisciplinary teams, the Coordinator will help establish and continuously improve the operational foundations that enable these services to work together effectively. Key initial priorities include coordinating the transition and establishment of health information systems and digital health technologies and supporting the operational establishment of QPP’s new statewide Mental Health and AOD counselling service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

- Promote QPP’s values and positive workplace culture.

- Health Information Systems & Digital Innovation
- Coordinate the implementation and optimisation of health information and practice management systems.




- Support digital health technologies, telehealth and client communication platforms.
- Maintain accurate, secure and compliant clinical and service data.
- Develop systems, workflows and training to support staff capability and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of QPP’s integrated health services.
- Maintain effective systems, procedures and workflows.
- Coordinate facilities, equipment and clinical resources.
- Provide administrative and operational support to health professionals and reception.
- Work closely with program leaders and clinicians to support effective service delivery.
- Support compliance with organisational, legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Contribute to quality improvement, risk management, WHS and audit activities.
- Review and improve operational procedures and health records.
- Monitor operational expenditure, resources and stock levels.
- Coordinate procurement of clinical equipment and medical consumables.
- Identify opportunities for efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
- Build effective relationships across QPP’s health and operational teams.
- Liaise with external suppliers and service providers to resolve operational matters.
- Support strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and services.

To ensure your success in such a position, we are seeking candidates who display:

- Relevant qualification in health, business administration/management or a related discipline.
- Experience in healthcare management, clinical administration and day-to-day service operations.




- Experience implementing or transitioning health information systems or practice management software.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and implement change.
- Experience supporting quality improvement, accreditation, compliance and procedural implementation.
- Highly developed organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of the health needs of people living with HIV and/or LGBTIQA+ communities, with a solid commitment to inclusive, person-centred care.
- Experience in community health, sexual health, mental health, AOD, primary healthcare or not-for-profit environments is desirable.
- Training in quality improvement, clinical governance or healthcare quality systems is desirable.
- First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
- Current Queensland Blue Card (or equivalent) and a current National Police Check are required.
- Demonstrated Hepatitis B immunity is required.

Remuneration: A highly competitive salary package is on offer, including:

- SCHADS Award Level 5 (commencing from $53.43 p/hr + super)
- Superannuation + leave loading
- Salary packaging of up to $35,000 grossed-up value, including up to $15,900 in everyday expenses + $2,650 in meal entertainment benefits, tax-free.
