We currently have a position for a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in our South Guildford depot.

The Role:

- Servicing and maintenance of the fleet, including scheduled maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Effectively diagnose and find faults in the mechanical assessment of all aspects of the HV truck fleet and trailers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used




- Work collaboratively with the team to manage vehicle downtime and ensure prompt return to service
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to apprentices, fostering their technical skills and knowledge in diesel mechanics

What you need:

- Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with relevant trade certificate
- Experience with preventive maintenance and the ability to identify potential issues before they become critical
- Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Knowledgeable in Kenworth and American-based trucks
