THE ROLE

Looking for a fulfilling Hose Technician job where you can use your mechanical fitter expertise to it’s fullest? For his position you will be carrying out hydraulic servicing and repairs, hose and fitting repairs, installations, maintenance and fault-finding on a wide range of industrial equipment. You will get to work on all sorts of mechanical gear, for all sorts of clients in all sorts of places

This is a hands-on Hose Technician role where no two days are the same. For this position, you can be based anywhere across Melbourne as we service our customer sites from our Derrimut branch site down to Dandenong and surrounding suburbs.

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive and down-to-earth team where things move quickly, there’s plenty of variety and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact across the business.

This is a full time, permanent role offering EXCELLENT hourly rates $$$ + on-call rates + loyalty bonus after 3 years of service. We also offer a relocation allowance if you are moving interstate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer sites




- Providing technical service and troubleshooting support for customers
- Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers
- Attend to customer queries regarding hydraulic hose related matters
- Manufacture hose assemblies as required
- Maintain van stock and equipment and ensure a professional image is maintained at all times

ABOUT YOU

- Have a strong knowledge and experience in hydraulic hose and fittings
- Broad exposure to servicing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
- Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
- Be able to complete a pre-employment medical and police check prior to starting
- Hold an Australian Driver’s license
