We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Support Worker to join our Inclusive Eats team.

This is a hands-on role combining hospitality, catering, food preparation, administration and supported employment. Working from our commercial kitchen, you will help coordinate the day-to-day production of fresh food and catering orders while working alongside supported employees to build their skills, confidence and independence in the workplace.

We are looking for someone who brings robust hospitality experience, takes pride in producing quality food and is ready to take ownership of a busy and varied role.

About the Role

No two days will be the same. You will be responsible for helping keep our Inclusive Eats operations organised, productive and running to a consistently high standard.

Key responsibilities will include

- Preparing and presenting catering platters and customer orders to a high standard
- Preparing fresh lunch meals for sale from our commercial kitchen
- Producing fresh salads, fruit salads, sandwiches, wraps, slices and other grab-and-go products
- Preparing and coordinating daily orders for our local stockists
- Barista duties and preparation of quality coffee
- Maintaining consistency across food quality, presentation, portioning and service
- Contributing fresh ideas for menu items, weekly specials and seasonal products
- Assisting with recipe development, menu planning and menu item costing
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating supplier orders
- Managing ingredients, stock rotation and reducing unnecessary food waste
- Completing administration relating to catering orders, stock, suppliers and daily operations
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Working collaboratively with our wider hospitality team to continue developing and growing Inclusive Eats





Supporting Our Employees An important part of this position is working directly alongside our supported employees.

You will provide practical, hands-on workplace support, helping employees develop hospitality skills, confidence and greater independence in their roles.

This may include demonstrating tasks, breaking processes into achievable steps, providing guidance and encouragement and identifying opportunities for employees to learn new skills and take on greater responsibility.

You will need to balance the pace and expectations of a commercial hospitality environment with creating a positive, inclusive workplace where everyone is encouraged and supported to contribute.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, motivated and confident taking ownership of their role.

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, planning and managing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of food quality, presentation and service.

You will bring strong initiative and practical hospitality experience, along with the confidence to contribute new ideas and identify opportunities to improve and grow our Inclusive Eats offering.

Just as importantly, you will be approachable, patient and encouraging, with the ability to work alongside supported employees to develop their skills, confidence and independence in the workplace.

What You will Bring

Essential:

- Demonstrated barista and coffee-making experience
- Previous commercial kitchen and food preparation experience
- Administration and organisational skills
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment




- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and pride in food quality and presentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work positively and patiently alongside people with different support needs and skill levels
- Current driver's licence

Highly regarded:

- Catering and platter preparation experience
- Experience with menu planning, recipe development and food costing
- Understanding of food costs, portion control and menu profitability
- Experience managing suppliers, ordering and stock control
- Café or broader hospitality operations experience
- Experience developing new menu items, specials or product offerings
- Previous experience in supported employment or working alongside people with disability

Pay: $58,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
