- Provide expert clinical guidance while supporting donor and recipient safety
- This prospect combines office, donor centre, and home-based work
- Provides medical guidance to optimise donor, recipient and blood component safety
- A portion of the work is provided via a rostered telephone advisory line
- Flexible working hours including evenings and weekend shifts will be required following a training period
- Opportunity to participate in research to support medical policy development.

Requirements

- Medical degree
- At least 2 years’ clinical experience
- Current full registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and in diverse cross functional teams
- High level of competence in use of information technology, including MS Office, and ability to rapidly acquire proficiency in use of Blood Service databases, use of telephony related applications, and utilisation of the Blood Service intranet.
