Position: Property Lawyer - having Unrestricted Practicing License

Type: Full time, permanent

Location: Truganina, VIC (office-based)

Reporting to: Senior Partner

Role Overview

n

We are seeking a motivated Property Lawyer to join our Truganina office. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing and property matters, providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service. This is an excellent prospect to work in a supportive team with clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage end-to-end conveyancing matters (purchase, sale, transfers, mortgage registrations).
n
- Advise on residential and commercial property transactions, due diligence and contract review.
n
- Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, transfer documents, caveats, easements and mortgage documents.
n
- Conduct and interpret property searches, liaise with local councils, lenders, real estate agents and settlement agents.
n
- Provide clear,



timely advice to clients and maintain regular communication.
n
- Supervise paralegals and support staff where required.
n
- Ensure compliance with professional conduct rules and firm policies.
n
- Assist with continuous improvement of processes and contribute to business development.
n
- Qualified solicitor admitted in Australia with relevant property law experience.
n
- Minimum 2–4 years' post-admission experience in property/conveyancing law (or equivalent demonstrated competence).
n
- Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills.
n
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
n
- Well-organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
n
- Proficient with MS Office; experience with matter management/conveyancing software desirable.
n
- Experience with both residential, business and commercial matters.
n
- Familiarity with local council/property searches and e-conveyancing platforms.
