About the Role

As part of the founding engineering team, you'llbe helping make the foundational architecturaldecisions that define what our platform becomes.You'll work directly with our founders totranslate our product vision into workingsoftware. You'll own the full stack,independently build end-to-end and help set theengineering culture from day one.

This role is for someone who thrives withautonomy, collaborates effectively with othersand can move fast without sacrificing craft. You must be comfortable workingin an ambiguous fast-changing environment, makegood decisions and own the outcome.

Responsibilities

- Develop the first iteration of our product
- Contribute to and help shape all engineeringand technical decisions (frontend, backend,data infrastructure, and AI/ML integration)




- Design and implement scalable, maintainablesystems from scratch that balance velocity,product requirements, efficiency and ourlong-term business objectives
- Ideate and collaborate meaningfully toproduct decisions, technical strategy andarchitectural trade-offs so we're buildingthe right things in the right way
- Develop our AI harness, including domaincontext and workflow logic, LLMorchestration, tooling, integrations,memory, evals and traces
- Develop robust, high-performance pipelinesfor ingestion, transformation, and storageof structured and unstructured data
- Iteratively build new features, balancingrapid prototyping with stability, security,and modularity
- Implement and maintain observability toolsand practices, such as metrics collection,logging, tracing and dashboards to providereal-time insights into system health
- Help establish a world class AI engineeringculture, internal systems and ways ofworking

What We’re Looking For

Required

- 5–8 years of professional softwareengineering experience, ideally including atleast one early-stage startup
- Solid full-stack proficiency anddemonstrated experience owning frontend,backend and infrastructure parts of thestack. You can build systems that hold up inproduction and are observable, recoverable,and reliable




- Experience designing and operating scalabledata pipelines (e.g. Kafka, Airflow, dbt,Spark, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to move fast on whatmatters, while making smart trade-offsbetween speed and quality
- Experience guiding technical strategy,architecture, and roadmap planning infast-changing environments - even better ifit's been applying AI
- Excellent analytical and communicationskills, with the ability to effectivelyshare your knowledge, back-up your views anddemonstrate good judgement

Highly Valued

- Hands-on experience building with LLMs inproduction environments
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLMevaluation, harnesses and architectingAI-powered systems
- Experience in fintech or building productsover financial data
- Prior experience as a founding or earlyengineer — you understand what it means tobuild culture, not just code
- Frontend experience with modern frameworks(react, tailwind, shadcn). You can ship apolished UI when needed
