Bid Manager – Commercial Fit Out

We're working with a well-established commercial fit out contractor who are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join their growing team and take ownership of the tender function.

n

With a strong pipeline of secured work and a collaborative leadership team, this is an opportunity to work on complex projects while playing a key role in shaping future project wins. You'll work closely with the Director and senior leaders and delivery teams to develop high-quality submissions that genuinely reflect the business's capability and approach.

About the Role

n

This is an end-to-end bid management position, taking ownership of the entire tender process—from identifying opportunities and developing bid strategies through to submission and post-tender reviews.

n

You'll collaborate across estimating, operations and project delivery to coordinate technical, commercial and programme information, ensuring every submission is compliant, competitive and professionally presented.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage the full tender lifecycle across EOIs, RFQs, RFTs and other procurement submissions.
n
- Develop bid strategies aligned with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
n
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants and subcontractors to produce high-quality submissions.
n
- Review tender documentation, contracts and specifications to identify risks and key deliverables.
n
- Prepare compelling written responses and supporting documentation.
n




- Manage multiple concurrent bids while meeting strict submission deadlines.
n
- Maintain and improve capability statements, project case studies and bid content libraries.
n
- Analyse tender outcomes and implement continuous improvements.
n
- Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.
n
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and industry stakeholders.
n
- Work with GC21 contract frameworks.
n

About You

n

n
- 4+ years' experience in bid management within construction, fit out or a related industry.
n
- Proven experience managing complex tenders from opportunity assessment through to submission.
n
- Strong understanding of GC21 contracts.
n
- Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
n
- Robust commercial awareness and the ability to identify contractual risks.
n
- Confident working closely with operational teams to translate technical information into compelling submissions.
n
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing deadlines.
