An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our leadership team at BYD Surfers Paradise.

n

With BYD continuing its rapid growth across Australia, we are looking for a proven automotive sales leader who can drive performance, develop people and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

n

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of strong process and accountability, and wants to play a key role in the continued growth of our BYD Gold Coast operations.

The Role

n

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the BYD Surfers Paradise sales department.

n

Key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team
n
- Driving monthly sales, order intake and delivery objectives
n
- Managing daily sales activity, lead management and conversion performance
n
- Ensuring every customer opportunity is followed up professionally and consistently
n
- Driving strong Lead > Test Drive > Order conversions
n
- Conducting regular one-on-ones, performance reviews and daily sales meetings
n
- Maintaining strong sales pipeline and forecasting disciplines
n




- Working closely with Business Managers to maximise Finance and Insurance opportunities
n
- Driving trade-in and Car Care performance
n
- Ensuring accurate CRM and sales reporting
n
- Maintaining strong manufacturer training and dealership scorecard compliance
n
- Taking ownership of customer experience and NPS performance
n
- Creating a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
n
- Working collaboratively across our broader BYD Gold Coast operations
n

About You

n

We are looking for a leader who brings energy, discipline and a genuine passion for developing people.

n

You will need:

n

n
- Previous automotive Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or Senior Sales leadership experience
n
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
n
- Strong leadership, coaching and people-management capability
n
- A sound understanding of automotive sales processes and dealership KPIs
n
- Strong lead-management and CRM disciplines
n
- The ability to analyse performance data and turn it into clear actions
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Strong commercial awareness across sales, finance, trade-ins and aftermarket
n
- A proactive,



hands-on leadership style
n
- A genuine desire to build a high-performance team culture
n

n

Experience with New Energy Vehicles is advantageous but not essential. More important is your ability to lead people, embrace change and execute consistently.
