About the role

Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway is seeking a reliable, energetic and detail-focused Casual Housekeeping Team Member to join our friendly and skilled team. This position offers approximately 25–30 hours per week, with weekend availability essential. The role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and understands the importance of providing our guests with exceptionally clean and well-presented accommodation.

Key responsibilities

- Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to a high standard
- Making beds and changing linen
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing guest amenities
- Vacuuming, dusting and general room presentation
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas as required
- Reporting maintenance issues or damaged items
- Working efficiently to meet daily housekeeping schedules
- Following hotel cleaning, hygiene and safety procedures

About you

- Reliable,



punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing housekeeping duties
- Positive attitude and professional approach
- Available to work weekends and public holidays as required
- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience would be an advantage, however training will be provided to the right person
