We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR and PALM Administrator to join a high performing company based in Dandenong.

Australian Meat Group is a meat processing and export business dedicated to the concept of excellence to deliver the highest standard in every aspect.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide general HR administrative support, maintain employee records and update HR systems (Humanforce and Payroll Metrics).
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding, including: job advertisements, reference checks, pre-employment documentation, VEVO checks, Q Fever vaccination appointments and employee setup.
- Maintain audits for worker's visa, working rights and compliance documentation, with follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Maintain recruitment job advertisement due dates and requirement.
- Assist with absenteeism, return-to-work documentation, basic payroll queries, and preparation of employee grievance statements and outcome reports.
- Prepare employment contracts, certificates, HR letters and meeting notifications, including casual-to-full time conversions.




- Manage Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) administration and compliance using PALMIS System, including: employment, incident reporting, accommodation, and welfare check.
- Track PALM accommodation upcoming due dates, including: inspections, lease agreements and utility.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong administration, data-entry and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation, time management and ability to prioritise.
- Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook.
- Proactive, reliable and able to take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees and departments.
- Previous HR administration experience is advantageous.
- HR qualification is advantageous.
