Could you be the next HR Driver to join us?
Your Recent Role
Based from a busy transport depot in Brendale, you'll be responsible for safely delivering materials throughout Brisbane, South East Queensland and regional Queensland. The work is varied and may include local multi-drop deliveries, direct customer runs, depot shuttles and occasional longer-distance work.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing vehicle pre-start inspections
- Safely operating HR trucks, including smaller crane trucks once trained
- Completing local multi-drop and regional deliveries
- Loading, strapping, securing and unloading materials
- Providing professional customer service at delivery sites
- Maintaining accurate delivery, vehicle and logbook records
- Communicating with operations regarding delays, site access or safety concerns
- Operating truck-mounted cranes once trained, licensed and verified as competent
Hours and Roster
- Starts are generally around 5:00-6:00 am
- Start and finish times vary according to the customer and allocated run
- Shifts may extend up to the legal 12-hour limit
- Fixed early finishes cannot be guaranteed
- Local work is available, although flexibility for regional or occasional overnight work is highly regarded
What You Need to Apply
- Current HR driver's licence
- Five-year driver history report (obtain online or in person from department of transport and main roads)
- Construction white card, or willingness to complete one before commencing
- Experience with multi-drop, construction-material or customer-facing delivery work
- Sound understanding of load restraint and road transport requirements
- Physical capacity to strap loads, assist with unloading and access construction sites
- Flexibility around start times, finish times, routes and duties
- Willingness to complete drug and alcohol testing and a commercial driver medical
- Australian working rights
Truck-mounted crane experience or a current CV ticket is highly regarded but not essential, as structured training may be available for the right driver. Interested? Apply directly and upload your most up-to-date resume.
