You will work closely with site leadership, supervisors and operational crews to support safe, practical and compliant mining activities.

Your responsibilities may include

- Providing practical HSE advice to operational teams
- Conducting workplace inspections, audits and field interactions
- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
- Facilitating risk assessments and reviewing secure work procedures
- Monitoring compliance with site systems and legislative requirements
- Coaching supervisors and employees on safety expectations
- Reviewing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement




- Maintaining accurate HSE records, reports and action registers
- Supporting mobilisation, inductions and site safety initiatives

What you will bring

- Previous HSE Advisor experience within mining, civil construction or another heavy industry
- A relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety
- Working knowledge of WA safety legislation and mining environments
- Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The confidence to engage with personnel at every level of an operation
- A practical approach to balancing safety, compliance and production requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Availability to travel to WA mining operations as required

Incident investigation qualifications such as ICAM, together with Cert IV Training and Assessment or similar supporting qualifications, will be highly regarded. Why apply through IronMerge?
