A HSE Role with Real Operational Impact

Bring your HSE experience into a diverse, operational role where you can make a practical difference across our people, projects and remote service delivery.

KRSP is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team in Broome on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work closely with managers, supervisors, employees and contractors to embed effective health, safety and environmental practices across the business.

This hands-on role involves coordinating audits and inspections, supporting incident investigations, maintaining HSE systems and documentation, delivering training and inductions, and providing practical coaching and guidance to operational teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative and willing to spend time in the field to understand our operations firsthand. Experience in a trade, construction, utilities or other site-based environment will be highly regarded, reflecting the practical, on-the-ground nature of KRSP's work.

You'll provide coaching, guidance and support tailored to the unique needs of our people and business.

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Provide practical HSE advice, coaching and support to operational teams.
- Coordinate audits, inspections and compliance activities.
- Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE systems, policies, procedures and registers.
- Deliver and coordinate inductions, training and toolbox talks.
- Mentor and support junior HSE staff.
- Monitor, analyse and report on HSE performance.
- Contribute to the delivery of KRSP's HSE strategy.

This is a permanent, residential role based at our Broome office. Local residents are encouraged to apply.





What you will need An ability to demonstrate a high work ethic and integrity together with a positive mindset.

Essential criteria:

- Prior experience in an HSE role, ideally in an operational or field-based environment.
- Practical understanding of safety risks in remote, construction or service delivery settings.
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety.
- Strong knowledge of WA WHS legislation and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard business systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexible, adaptable and service-oriented mindset.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Desirable criteria:

- Background in a trade or practical field-based role.
- Formal investigation training (e.g. ICAM or TapRooT).
- Experience living and working in remote communities.
