- New Zealand is offering an unpaid internship for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our People &
- Culture team. This is a fantastic learning opportunity designed to support your studies in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field at an Australian university. As an HR Intern, you'll gain valuable practical experience and insights into the HR operations of a leading luxury Maison. This role will focus on supporting HR administrative processes, complementing your academic knowledge with real-world application.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration &
- Systems Support:
- Assist with maintaining and updating HR administrative records and documentation.
- Help prepare and format non-confidential templates, correspondence, and HR materials.
- Assist with day-to-day HR filing and record management practices.
- Recruitment &
- Onboarding Support:
- Assist with coordinating interview schedules, meeting room bookings, and candidate communications.
- Support the onboarding and induction process for new team members under direct supervision.
- Observe interview processes and learn standard recruitment coordination workflows.
- Employee Engagement &
- People Operations:
- Assist with coordinating internal staff engagement activities, well-being initiatives, or team workshops.
- Help compile and format feedback or data from employee engagement initiatives.
- Attend team meetings and gain exposure to general HR operations within the business.
- General HR Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Assist with ad-hoc learning projects and guided research tasks as required.
- Gain exposure to various aspects of a fully functioning corporate HR team.
Profile
Qualifications And Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology, or a related field at an Australian university.
- Strong academic record.
- Basic understanding of human resources principles and workplace practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
