We are looking for a HR Manager to join our team based in Australia.

ABOUT BONFIGLIOLI AUSTRALIA

Bonfiglioli Australia is part of the Bonfiglioli Group and is headquartered in Glendenning, Sydney. The business is predominantly a commercial operation with its presence across Sales & Business Development, Operation, Quality, Administration, Finance and Customer Application Engineering functions.

The HR Manager role will take ownership of the end-to-end HR activities for both Australia and New Zealand, working closely with the Country Manager, Regional HR and the wider global HR organisation. The position will play an important role in building a stronger local HR presence, supporting business leaders and employees, driving people-related initiatives, and ensuring effective implementation of Group HR practices across the two countries. Given the regional scope of the position, the role may also involve occasional travel to New Zealand.

MISSION

As a HR Manager, you will ensure management/ control of all HR process at local level in line with national legislation and Group HR Strategy.



Supports the Country Manager in implementing the business strategy adding value to business in terms of organizational effectiveness and people development. This is a full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working with business managers and team leaders to understand their people-related needs and deliver tailored HR solutions
- Manage and monitor: Hiring process, turnover, employee programs, performance appraisals, wage progression.
- Ensuring HR compliance at local level
- Providing guidance and advice to managers and employees on a range of HR-related matters
- Co-ordinate learning and development initiatives and support career pathways and capability uplift.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic HR projects
- Assisting with employee relations issues and helping to resolve any workplace conflicts
- Ensure HR documentation is maintained accurately (contracts, variations, position descriptions, and employee records).

REQUIREMENTS

- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR fundamentals, with a willingness to learn.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate confidently with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgement.
- A collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Working rights in Australia.
