Experience and Skills

Essential

- Information Technology, Engineering or Telecommunications degree, technical certification, or equivalent industry experience.

- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and engineering large enterprise network systems.

- Strong hands-on design and configuration experience across enterprise networking and security infrastructure.

- Expertise in LAN, WAN and Data Centre network integration techniques and enterprise design.

- Robust solution design, technical documentation, business requirements analysis and stakeholder communication skills.

- Ability to operate independently, prioritise multiple engagements and remain calm under pressure.

Highly Regarded

- Cisco networking certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.





- Vendor certifications across EfficientIP, Infoblox, Fortinet, Check Point or other major network/security vendors.

- Cloud architecture, network or security certifications across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or equivalent.

- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, API integration and Infrastructure as Code practices.

- Experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, monitoring, logging, packet capture and debugging tools.
