Identity & Security Enterprise Architect

Contract: 6 Months | Location: Perth CBD | Start: ASAP

Overview

Seeking an experienced Identity & Security Enterprise Architect to support the Discovery & Design phase of a major Digital Identity transformation program. This role requires a true Enterprise Architect with deep expertise across Digital Identity, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Security Architecture .

Key Responsibilities

- Provide enterprise-wide architecture leadership for Digital Identity and Security initiatives.
- Review, validate, and challenge architecture designs proposed by consultants and vendors.
- Define and assess strategies covering Identity Providers (IdP), SSO, Entra ID, IGA, PAM, and Access Management.
- Collaborate with identity, security, and integration teams to ensure scalable and secure solutions.
- Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture standards, governance, and digital strategy.

Required Experience




- Strong Enterprise Architecture background with experience in large-scale transformation programs.
- Deep expertise in:
- Digital Identity: Entra ID, SSO, Federation, Conditional Access, Identity Lifecycle Management.
- IGA: SailPoint, Saviynt, Entra ID Governance, provisioning and access governance.
- PAM: CyberArk, Delinea, Entra PIM, JIT access, vaulting, session management.
- Access Management: Authentication architecture and enterprise access models.
- Security Architecture: Essential Eight ML2, Privacy Act compliance, identity security controls.

Ideal Candidate
- Enterprise Architect rather than a Solution or Security Architect.
- Able to challenge specialist consultants and vendors on technical design decisions.
- Solid stakeholder management and engineering engagement skills.
- Comfortable balancing Digital Identity transformation work with broader Enterprise Architecture initiatives.
