The ICT Officer is an operational technical position that provides day-to-day ICT support, administration and problem-solving across OVIC's ICT infrastructure and operations. Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, the role provides hands-on technical support and contributes to the delivery of ICT projects and initiatives under the guidance of the ICT Operations Manager.

Role Description The ICT Officer is an operational technical position that provides day-to-day ICT support, administration and problem-solving across OVIC's ICT infrastructure and operations. Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, the role provides hands-on technical support and contributes to the delivery of ICT projects and initiatives under the guidance of the ICT Operations Manager.

At the VPS Grade 3 level, the ICT Officer is expected to work independently on routine and moderately complex technical tasks, applying established procedures, standards and practices to resolve issues and support business operations. Higher-risk, complex, security-sensitive or escalated matters are referred to the ICT Operations Manager for direction and resolution.
