Working alongside the Head Chef and kitchen team, you'll help keep our busy kitchen running smoothly and consistently.

n

You'll be:

n

n
- Preparing and cooking quality pub/bistro meals
n
- Working busy services of 150-300 covers per day
n
- Supporting and leading the kitchen team during service
n
- Catering for functions, events and tour groups
n
- Training and supporting junior staff
n
- Maintaining quality, consistency and presentation
n
- Managing stock, portion control and wastage
n
- Maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards
n

About the Candidate

n

We're looking for someone who can handle the heat, work well as part of a team and jump in to get the job done., Has experience in a rapid-paced, high-volume kitchen

n

n
- Works well under pressure
n
- Is reliable, organised and a strong team player
n
- Is happy to jump in wherever needed
n




- Can train and support other kitchen staff
n
- Holds or can obtain a QLD Food Safety Supervisor certificate
n
- Has Australian working rights
n

n

Experience in pubs, hotels, remote locations, functions or tour-group catering is a bonus.

n
