Role Description The Information Technology Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and IT services at the Sydney, NSW office in a full-time capacity. Daily activities include diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across all workstations and servers.

The role involves configuring and maintaining networking equipment, implementing network security measures, and responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities.



The IT Engineer will collaborate with internal teams to support business applications, manage user accounts and access controls, and maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures. This position also contributes to continuous improvement of IT infrastructure, assists with upgrades and deployments, and supports compliance with relevant security and data protection standards.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Information Technology, including systems administration and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software issues.
- Hands-on experience with Networking, including configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and wireless networks.
- Knowledge of Network Security principles, tools, and best practices for protecting systems and data.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, user account management, and basic server administration.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with backup solutions, antivirus tools, and cloud or virtualization technologies is an advantage.
