Role Description The Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Canberra Area. This role is responsible for installing and assembling handling and storage systems such as shelving, racking, trolleys, and related equipment at customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting plans or installation instructions, performing measurements and layout work, safely using hand and power tools, and ensuring all installations meet company quality standards and relevant safety guidelines.





The Installer will work closely with project managers and other team members, communicate with clients on-site, and assist with inspections, adjustments, and minor repairs as needed. The position also involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, completing basic documentation, and supporting warehouse or preparation work when required.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in physical installation, assembly, or construction work, including safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, measurements, and manufacturer instructions.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, particularly in warehouse, industrial, or construction environments.
- Strong practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail in ensuring accurate, secure, and compliant installations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues on-site.
- Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites across the Greater Canberra Area.
- Relevant trade, construction, or installation experience or qualification is highly regarded; experience with storage or racking systems is a plus.

- Comfort with completing basic documentation, job reports, and following company procedures.
