About the Role: As a key member of the Contracts & Procurement team, reporting to the Procurement & Contracts Manager, this role is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and optimisation of inventory across the Group's warehouse and stores operations. Working closely with maintenance planners, procurement, and finance, and providing hands-on support to our onsite warehouse and procurement team at Mt Carbine, you will ensure the right parts and materials are available when the business needs them, while keeping stock holdings, working capital, and obsolescence firmly under control.

The role plays an integral part in inventory master data management and cataloguing, min/max and safety stock optimisation, cycle counting and stocktake programs, and inventory reporting and analysis across the Group ERP environment. You will also contribute to the ongoing improvement of warehouse systems, processes, and internal controls as our operations ramp up to full production.



The position is preferably based in our Brisbane CBD office, with site-based arrangements at Mt Carbine considered for the right candidate, and will involve periodic travel to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory master data across the Group ERP environment, including cataloguing standards, item descriptions, units of measure, and bin locations
- Set, review, and optimise min/max levels, reorder points, and safety stock holdings to balance parts availability against working capital and holding costs
- Plan and deliver cycle counting and periodic stocktake programs, including variance investigation, reconciliation, and processing of inventory adjustments
- Identify and manage slow-moving, obsolete, and surplus stock, including recommendations for disposal, redeployment, or return to supplier
- Work with maintenance and operations teams to identify critical and insurance spares and ensure appropriate holdings are established and preserved
- Assist the onsite warehouse and procurement team at Mt Carbine with day-to-day receipting, put-away, issuing, returns, and quarantine activities, including coverage support as required
- Coordinate stock replenishment with the procurement team, including raising requisitions and expediting critical demand
- Monitor and report inventory KPIs, including stock accuracy, stock turns, stockouts, and inventory valuation movements
- Assist with warehouse layout, storage, preservation, and shelf-life management standards across our operations
- Develop and maintain inventory management procedures, work instructions, and internal controls
- Support half-year and year-end stocktake and audit processes, including preparation of workpapers and liaison with external auditors




- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of ERP inventory modules, reporting tools, and business intelligence capability

Key Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated experience in inventory, warehouse, or materials management within a mining, resources, or heavy industrial environment.
- Qualifications in supply chain, logistics, or a related discipline highly regarded, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong systems capability, with SAP experience preferred or demonstrated proficiency in a similar ERP system, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliation and analysis.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, particularly in data cleansing, matching, and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote site teams and suppliers.
